Sevier County Campus
The campus of Cossatot Community College
- UA in De Queen is divided into eleven separate buildings
and areas. These buildings contain approximately 60,000 square
feet, and are completely air-conditioned, with the exception
of the Trade and Industry shops and the warehouse. Modern
equipment, as well as the latest in teaching and audio-visual
technology, are available to students. As the need arises
and funds become available, the facilities are expanded and
improved.
The Pilgrim-Cossatot Learning Center in
De Queen is sponsored jointly by the College and Pilgrim's
Pride, and offers classes in English as a Second Language
and Adult Basic Education. An additional Adult Eduation Center
is located at 104 South Fifth Street in De Queen.

Howard County Campus
A campus of Cossatot Community College of the University of Arkansas awaits you in Howard County. The new facility, on 35 acres at 1558 Highway 371 West, just west of Nashville, Arkansas, opened for fall 2006 classes. The 40,500 square-foot campus offers courses and programs in Business, Nursing, Truck Driving, Welding, Residential Construction, Cosmetology, and other technical programs, as well as general education coursework.
In addition, there is classroom lab space for a variety of non-credit classes. Adult Basic Education provides programs in GED, English as a Second Language, Employability Skills, Reading, Writing, Math Remediation, Computer Literacy, and Asset Test Preparation.

Little River County Campus
The Ashdown Extension of Cossatot Community
College of the University of Arkansas is the College's newest
facility. Located at 1411 N. Constitution Avenue on US Highway
71 North, this 53,640 sq. ft. facility houses numerous programs
for the College and the community it serves. It has four
large lecture classrooms, a computer lab, a Computer Repair/CISCO
lab, an Interactive video classroom, an Electrical Apprenticeship
classroom, and a Hydraulics/Pneumatics classroom. Installation
of a branch of the College's Kimball Library is planned for
2003.
Also housed at this facility are the Workplace
Education Center, Little River County Literacy Council, Cooperative
Extension Service, and a One-Stop Career Center to assist
area residents in finding jobs and in getting the training
required to get better jobs. The Spotlight Business Accelerator
for Entrepreneurs (SBAE) a small-business incubator program,
is also located at the Ashdown Extension. SBAE has brought
in its first tenant, EKBA, a firm specializing in interchangeable
aluminum boat and outdoor accessories, and plans to assist
in the development of numerous other small businesses to
benefit the local jobs market. EKBA has already resulted
in the creation of twelve new jobs, and expects to generate
a total of 35 new jobs in Little River County by year's end.
