Online BSE Information Session Set for April 7

DE QUEEN – Division of University Transfer Studies Chair Robbie McKelvy has announced that a special recruitment session for Henderson State University’s Online Bachelor of Science in Education program will be held Thursday, April 7th, at CCCUA-De Queen in Room B-9. The session begins at 5PM. McKelvy said Lynda Samons, the Henderson State University representative, will talk with anyone interested in this program or wanting to take the courses required to add a middle school math/science certification.
McKelvy noted that Henderson will offer this online BSE program for the junior and senior years to those working toward an Education degree for Grades 4-8 with a specialty in Math/Science. She added that students should complete an AAT Degree at CCCUA with a Math/Science specialty, and must pass the Praxis I exam to be eligible for this program.

Cossatot Community College offers both technical certification and Associate’s degrees in a wide range of fields on its campus at De Queen, at extension sites at Nashville and Ashdown, and at cccua.edu.
