UA Cossatot Foundation Receives Legacy Campaign Donation
The Legacy 2020 Campaign, a capital fundraising project of UA Cossatot Foundation, has received a donation from Dewayne and Janice Mack.
As a result of the donation, the Educational Resource Center located on the De Queen Campus in the Alison Technology Building will be renamed the Dewayne and Janice Mack ERC.
“Dewayne Mack has served on the Foundation Board for over 7 years,” said Dustin Roberts, Coordinator of Development. “Not only have they served our college by using their talents, but they also have shown the confidence they have in our institution by making a donation.”
UA Cossatot Foundation’s Legacy 2020 Campaign is to focus on donors and corporations that wish to invest in the growth of the college on all three campuses. For every donation amount, a naming opportunity exists for donors who wish to leave a legacy for future students.
“We are excited to be a part of the Legacy 2020 campaign,” said Dewayne Mack. “Giving back to the community and making it easier for students to attend college has always been a part of my family. We are thankful for what UA Cossatot represents to this community- an opportunity for increase in skills and knowledge.”
“Legacy 2020 is just one way businesses and individuals are giving back to the community,” said Roberts. “Some are investing a sum at one time and others are paying out a commitment annually and some are investing in scholarships. We are thrilled with the community’s response to our campaign!”
