UA Cossatot Names Student Ambassadors
February 04, 2016
The new student ambassadors for UA Cossatot’s Spring 2016 semester have been named and inducted.
Last week, the new ambassadors were inducted at a reception at the home of Justin White, UA Cossatot’s Director of Student Services. These students represent the College not only to the UA Cossatot student body, but also to the College’s communities. During their year of services, they will perform around 1,300 hours of service that will include organizing and facilitating student events, visiting with high school students about college, performing community service projects, and participating in events that develop them professionally and personally.
“These students pass a series of interviews and meet stringent criteria before being selected to be UA Cossatot’s ambassadors,” said UA Cossatot Dr. Steve Cole. “We are proud of all of our students but these students represent the best of UA Cossatot.”
The Student Ambassadors are: Mayra Hilario of De Queen, Kortney Ashley of Ashdown, Madison Woodruff of Ashdown, Clayton Alspaw of De Queen, Arwen McDaniel of Texarkana, Mowery Santana of Foreman, Abi Bahena of De Queen, Jessica Rios of De Queen, Lizz Garza of De Queen and Brettny Lynch of Falls Chapel.
