The UAC men's basketball team rolled to a 96-61 non-conference road victory in Marshall, TX, Monday night, February 7, defeating the East Texas Baptist JV.

This marked the third victory for the Colts over the Tigers this season as UAC ran their record to 16-6. Terry Anderson led the way for the Colts with 22 points, 11 rebounds, and four steals. DeCorian Phillips had a big night, with five three-pointers and 19 total points. Dalon Dean, the NJCAA Division II Player of the Week, had 16, including four three-pointers. Cortez Collins had 14, and Kamren Woods had 10 points and four steals.

UA Cossatot Athletic Director and Head Coach Robert Byrd said, “It was our last opportunity to look at some things. Now it’s time for us to lock in on our final 4 regional games of the regular season.”

Next up for the Colts, who are tied with ASU-Mid South for first place in Region 2, will be a Thursday match-up at Harrison for a men's/ women's conference doubleheader with North Arkansas Community College. The ladies will tip-off at 5 pm, the men at 7 pm, and can be watched on ed88radio.com.
