Scholarship Information

Scholarships are a type of financial aid award that does not need to be repaid. Scholarships are awarded on various criteria usually reflecting the values and purposes of the donor of the award.

Available college scholarships at UA Cossatot include:

  • Merit-based scholarships
  • Need-based scholarships
  • Scholarships based on major or career path
  • Athletic scholarships
  • Additional tuition assistance or waivers based on certain demographics

Institutional Scholarships

UA Cossatot Scholarship Applications are due March 1st, 2025. Current students and future students need to apply for scholarships each year. This one application will apply to all institutional and UAC Foundation scholarships.

UA Cossatot Foundation Scholarships

Since its creation, the UA Cossatot Foundation has provided students the opportunities they need to succeed through scholarships and other campus support measures. UA Cossatot Foundation scholarships are also listed on the UAC Scholarship Application. As noted above, current students and future students will need to apply for scholarships every year.

Local Scholarships

Local scholarships are made available by community members and businesses. You cannot apply for these types of scholarships through the general UA Cossatot Scholarship Application. You may find these local scholarship opportunities through your high school counselor.

Tuition Waivers

UA Cossatot offers tuition waivers based on residency, employment, and age.

Examples of UAC waivers and assistance include:

  • Out-of-state tuition waivers
  • Senior citizen tuition waivers
  • Tuition assistance for veterans and their dependents
