Academic Quality Improvement Program (AQIP)

Developed by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, AQIP utilizes the principles and benefits of continuous improvement into the culture of colleges and universities by providing an alternative process through which an already-accredited institution can maintain its accreditation. An AQIP institution demonstrates how it meets accreditation standards and expectations through a sequence of events and projects that align with the ongoing activities of the college and strives to improve its process and performance.

These 6 categories are the key processes for measuring and analyzing our institution's performance within AQIP.

  • Helping Students Learn
  • Meeting Student and Other Stakeholder Needs
  • Valuing Employees
  • Planning and Leading
  • Knowledge Management and Resource Stewardship
  • Quality Overview
