Hello UA Cossatot Student!
I am emailing you to check in to see if we can do anything for you during these difficult times. Our administration has had to make some tough decisions over the past several weeks regarding our students and I just wanted you to know that your safety was our number one concern in all of these decisions. Many of you are learning online for the very first time, and we know this can be challenging. I just wanted to let you know we will do whatever it takes to help you make it through this semester. For our technical students, our plan for you will come out tomorrow (Friday, April 3rd) as to how you will finish this semester and still gain the skills you to need for employment.
We are also keeping our eye on the Federal CARES act, which may allow us to help our students that were affected by the COVID-19 outbreak. These funds may allow us to help students return to college, even during these difficult times. We will keep you updated on that potentially good news!
We are here for you, all you have to do is ask. Call or email your instructor, student services, or me personally (scole@cccua.edu) and we will assist you in any way humanly possible. There is a lot a good information on our website at https://www.cccua.edu.
